Rhett Hemingway is currently a senior in the prestigious BFA Musical Theatre program at University of Michigan. He made his professional stage debut in 2022 as Young Hunter in Untitled Unauthorized Hunter S. Thompson Musical at La Jolla Playhouse, directed by Christopher Ashley, opposite Tony Award winner Gabriel Ebert.

At University of Michigan, Rhett most recently starred as Warren in This Is Our Youth and previously appeared in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, The Importance of Being Earnest, and in a sold-out production of Titanic at the Power Center in Ann Arbor. He also appeared as The Boy in Ruskin Theatre Group’s production of The Fantasticks and was featured in workshops of the late Gavin Creel’s Untitled and Canvas, a new work by Diego Andres Rodriguez and Ryo Kamibayashi.

Following graduation, Rhett will be based in New York City.
